5 East is a variety band from Myrtle Beach that was formed just 6 months ago. The band members are:   Fred Magro - Drums from Allendale,  NJ,  Skip Yingling - Keyboards from Morristown, NJ, John "JP" Pisarchik - Bass from Yonkers, NY, Tyler Joyce - Guitar from Baltimore, MD and Heather Bowen, vocals from Lindenhurst, NY. The band name came together by accident, actually, when someone misheard a suggested name, and instead heard "5 East"  We decided to stick with that name ! The band plays a mix of Motown, Rock, R&B and Pop that people want to dance to!
